The second phase meeting to update the Master Development Plan (MDP) studies for the Shurijeh D reservoir at the Khargiran field was held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the MAPNA Group Headquarters. The meeting aimed to present the latest technical results and review the geological and reservoir models of the development phase.
Topics discussed included the reinterpretation of 3D seismic data, the revision and integration of petrophysical logs from Phase 1 and Phase 2 wells, the construction of the updated static model, and the updating of the dynamic model using an optimised well-placement approach.
The session was attended by technical managers and experts from the Ministry of Oil, National Iranian Gas Company, National Iranian Central Oil Fields Company, Gas Engineering & Development Company of Iran, MAPSA (investor consultant), Shurijeh Gas Processing & Storage Company, MAPNA OGDC as the project investor, and members of the executing consortium.
